PEDESTRIAN 'SERIOUS' AFTER ACCIDENT

AN ELDERLY woman was seriously injured in an accident in Lockerbie town centre on Thursday afternoon.
Police say she was involved in an accident with a blue Citroen car in Station Road around 4.20.

Police later sealed off the immediate sign up to site for traders area to carry out an accident investigation.
They are appealing for witnesses to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 0845-600-5701.
